The Dark Souls series is very popular.
From Software has announced its Dark Souls series has sold over 27 million copies to date.
The figure is up by 2 million units over what was reported in June 2019 when the developer’s upcoming action-RPG game, Elden Ring, was announced.

Dark Souls was released in 2011 as a follow up to 2009’s Demon’s Souls and was followed by Dark Souls 2 in 2014.
Dark Souls 3 was released in 2016, and publisher Bandai Namco announced today the title has sold over 10 million copies worldwide.
