Original released for Japan’s Super Famicom in 1995 under the name Seiken Densetsu 3, Trials of Mana is an ambitious remake that will release on Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 24. Square Enix today dropped a short gameplay trailer for Trials of Mana that shows off the flow of combat, the different heroes, and how leveling up works.
The remake takes advantage of the current-gen hardware, and features an all-new combat system, a remastered soundtrack, an expanded story, and spoken dialogue. If you’re new to the Mana series, you can check out the original game, and the SNES version of Trials of Mana in the Collection of Mana bundle that released last June on Switch.
