Capcom Horrifies With Resident Evil Village

Proving that some rumors can be believed, the eighth official entry in the Resident Evil series is called Resident Evil Village and it has a haunted village theme. The brief trailer looks stunning as well as horrifying. As with RE Village, this game will also be set in a first-person perspective and seems to involve running around a decaying old village surrounded by a frozen forest.

RE Village’s Ethan is still in the game and likely the main protagonist, but Chris Redfield also makes a return at the end of the trailer. We didn’t see a lot of zombies, but we caught sight of plenty of other monstrous creatures who chilled us to the core (seriously, you should feel our core).

Resident Evil Village will be out in 2021. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
