Activision has continued its Call of Duty 2020 teases within Call of Duty: Warzone, giving fans the code to open the locked door at the shack near Prison. As usual, Warzone players can unlock the door and check out what’s inside to find more clues about Call of Duty 2020, including a rather interesting device that appears to be being built.
Like the previous Call of Duty 2020 teases, the code and location of the latest Warzone bunker was given away online in a historical video, this one covering the presidency of Richard Nixon. By the time the video was over, Warzone fans knew to travel to location H8 on the battle royale map, which is right near the Prison area. One of the only buildings at this location is a shack with a locked door, and now fans have the code to open it.
To open the Warzone Prison shack door, players need to input the following code: 72948531. Like the Farmland location and the bunker that opened yesterday, there’s not much in this shack in the way of high-quality loot. However, there is a box that spawns in there and players should be able to leave with at least some weaponry and cash that they didn’t have before. The main attraction is to check out the new Call of Duty 2020 clues and the device on the table.
It’s speculated that the device is an in-progress RC-XD. For the uninitiated, the RC-XD is a killstreak from the Black Ops sub-series, where players are able to use a remote control car with an explosive strapped to it to blow up enemy players. Previously, datamining efforts have suggested that the RC-XD killstreak is going to be added to Warzone at some point down the line, so it’s possible that this is the first part of that.
Fans can expect another big tease for Call of Duty 2020 to drop tomorrow, with the full reveal of the game possibly coming as early as Wednesday this week. However, Activision has been anything but predictable when it comes to the Call of Duty 2020 reveal, breaking from tradition and taking a very unorthodox route to unveiling the game. Prior to Call of Duty 2020, all Call of Duty games had been announced by the end of May every year.
Once the Call of Duty 2020 teases end, Warzone fans will still have plenty of new content to look forward to. Warzone Season 5 will likely have a mid-season update that includes a slew of new content for fans to check out, but more concrete details on that have yet to be revealed.
Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
