Right after Activision fixed one bug, another appears in Call of Duty: Warzone as players find themselves running in 3rd person. The constant flow of new bugs and errors continues to plague the game with problems since launch. Warzone fans now must be on the lookout for this strange perspective error.
Everything was fine in one streamer’s match until they tried to get into a vehicle. After the developers made some adjustments to this process in the recent update, it seems that something must have gone wrong. Without any explanation, the player found themselves in a third-person perspective mid-Warzone match, running around the car. It should be noted that this is a very different form of the previous third-person glitch that appeared in the Gulag several months ago.
The clip comes from popular Twitch streamer HusKerrs who was quick to announce the bug to his community. After running up to the back end of the car, players can clearly see the animation jump, placing his character in the vehicle. That is, until he rounds the corner still in control of the main model. Running around, firing his gun, and aiming are all possible, but his view is locked on the SUV. He spends a few minutes running around the SUV, jumping, and experiencing an exclusive look at Warzone in a third-person perspective before eventually getting in the vehicle and recentering his camera’s lock.
Although this glitch is minor compared to the “demon gun” glitch that plagued the game, some fans find it funny that any bug would appear after such a major fix. Playing in third-person is a much more reasonable bug then the demonic texture overload that was breaking the game, so fans are responding with humor rather than anger at this glitch’s appearance.
Call of Duty: Warzone has been plagued with cheaters since launch, and despite having a game size of 200GB, many argue that the game does not feel more secure. With a game population of 75 million players across the world, many fans think that Infinity Ward would be more careful in patching and updating the title then it has been in the past.
There is no telling what could have caused this strange glitch. Some fans are blaming it on Infinity Ward’s update, while others say that it could simply be an overlooked detail from a previous patch. Until the bug is repaired, the best thing fans can do is avoid entering vehicles from the rear.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
