Rebellion has announced Evil Genius 2: World Domination will be delayed into the first half of 2021, after being originally slated for this year.
Due to some of the constraints from working at home because of COVID-19, the team needs extra time to bring Evil Genius 2 to the masses.
According to Rebellion, the team wants to deliver a sequel that will “do justice” to the franchise, and be loved and played by the community for years to come.
“One of the things we most prize about Rebellion is our independence, which allows us the freedom to do what’s right for our games, and our staff,” reads the notice. “We’ll announce a final release date as soon as we can.”
