Fortnite has a plethora of new challenges this week that players can go in and complete. While some of the challenges coincide with Season 4’s Marvel crossover event, the other challenges are more standard fare for Fortnite.
One of the Fortnite challenges tasks players with traveling to certain landmarks. Specifically, players need to drive a motorboat underneath certain colored steel bridges around the map.
Fortnite’s Season 4 map changes brought a plethora of new landmarks that involve Marvel characters and buildings, but some other landmarks from previous seasons make a return as well. In particular, the different colored steel bridges have come back to Fortnite’s Season 4 map to connect the various landmasses. First, players are going to want to find a motorboat to drive through the rivers that go under each of the different steel bridges.
Thankfully, it won’t be hard for players to find motorboats around the Fortnite map. Motorboats spawn in all major rivers and lakes around the map, so players simply need to follow a river in one direction to find one. Also, it’s important to know that players only need to drive under three of the bridges out of the total five. Additionally, the bridges players drive under can be any color and the challenge can be completed in seperate matches.
As mentioned above, there are five total steel bridges on the map, with each being a different color: the red, yellow, green, blue and purple bridges. First, players should look to drop on the center island area called The Authority, as it has branching rivers that connect the entire map. Players are going to want to drive under the bridges located at the top half of the map, as they are much closer together. After finding a motorboat, start driving towards Frenzy Farm to reach the green steel bridge.
After finding the green steel bridge, drive under it and start heading north. To the north, players will find the blue steel bridge located just south of Craggy Cliffs on the map. Finally, start heading south of Doom’s Domain after driving under the blue steel bridge. A little way down the river, players will find the red steel bridge. Drive under the red steel bridge to complete the challenge.
Players have been enjoying the Nexus War content, with tons of players donning skins of their favorite Marvel heroes. Additionally, there tons of cool Marvel landmarks around the map. One of those landmarks is the new Black Panther statue, which fans have been gathering around and saluting in memory of the late Chadwick Boseman. The statue unfortunately now stands as a monument to Boseman, though fans are making the most of it and using it to pay their respects to the revered actor.
Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
