The list of characters in the Street Fighter franchise is seemingly endless, with new, powerful fighters of all kinds being introduced over the years. Though most fans of Street Fighter would be able to easily pick out who the strongest characters are, such as Ryu, Oro, and Gill, they might not know who exactly are the weakest.
Based on the canon story and lore of the franchise, there are ten characters who are definitely at the bottom when it comes to strength, ability, and skill. Though they have their redeeming qualities, here are the weakest 10 Street Fighter characters according to lore.
10 Remy
This French fighter gets his fighting power from his deep hatred for everyone and everything. He lives in constant fury after his father abandoned his family and his sister passed away. He does have some great moves and tough attacks, but he still cannot compare in power and ability to many of his rivals and opponents. In the story, he ends up letting go of his anger and moving on to a better and hopefully brighter future.
9 Cammy
M. Bison’s Dolls were pretty much on the lowest tier when it comes to strength and ability in combat. Though the brainwashed teenage assassins were a decently good asset for Bison, they definitely could not be controlled forever, with Cammy eventually breaking free of the mind control and escaping. Though both she and Decapre were both Dolls, Cammy comes out on top due to her extra combat skills, survival after her mind control, and her ability to control the Psycho Drive.
8 Decapre
Another Doll of M. Bisons, Decapre looks very similar to Cammy but has a big burn across her face. She uses daggers and claws in her hand-to-hand combat fighting, which can be helpful but isn’t exactly the most powerful when she faces her opponents.
Decapre does her best to defeat her enemies but unfortunately, she just can’t compare in strength when it comes to other characters in the story, especially with her deteriorating mind once she broke free of M. Bison’s mind control.
7 Sodom
Sodom is a giant, muscular American who is obsessed with Japanese culture, even though he speaks very choppy Japanese and writes kanji incorrectly. He was a high ranking member of a very prominent gang before he and his gang were defeated by Guy. After his defeat, he continued to be taken down by characters stronger than him since he can’t really hold up against those outside of the underground pro wrestling world. Though he looks big and scary, he’s really not a big challenge to those who stand up against him.
6 Birdie
This chain-wielding fighter is an obese British man who has a very interesting combat style. He uses a combination of bar-room brawling, pro wrestling, and chain attacks when facing his opponents. Though he’s not exactly intelligent and his gut is quite oversized, he has been through a lot of fights and came out victorious in most of them. He’s a good fighter on the streets, but his skills don’t hold up against most of the other fighters in the franchise. He also got tricked and experimented on by M. Bison, further showing his weaknesses.
5 Rufus
Rufus is yet another obese man, this time an American kung-fu fighter who claims he is on the same level as Ken…which clearly isn’t true. His character is a very silly and comical one, and he’s not very smart, making him not a very serious contender to Ken or many others.
He is known to be legendary in the biker world though he’d rather just be known for his combat skills. In his story, all he wants is to be cooler and stronger than Ken, though he is never shown to have beaten him.
4 El Fuerte
This giant fighting beefcake takes his Mexican pride to the next level and uses his Lucha libre skills to fight. His two major passions are fighting and cooking, leading him to travel to tournaments so he can discover and perfect new dishes. Since his interests are so contrasting and his wrestling style is quite unique, he isn’t as strong as a fighter as he could be. He is a great luchador, but he just can’t compare in strength and skills to many of the other characters in the tournaments he signs up for.
3 F.A.N.G.
This quirky looking fighter uses poison techniques to take down his enemies, though he failed immensely in his mission to assassinate M. Bison. After his failure, he became a loyal servant to M. Bison and then preferred to be his lackey since his only concern was to stay alive and survive as long as he can. Though he has faced many other characters in the series, he never really defeats any of them and eventually falls alongside Bison and his base.
2 Dan
Though Dan is a high-skill martial artist who was once trained by Gouken, he is still unarguably one of the weakest guys in the series. He is known to be much lower on the power scale than nearly all of the other characters due to using his own unique fighting style he calls “Saikyo-Ryu” or “Strongest style”.
He is known to be a very weak fighter and can be defeated by nearly everyone without much effort. His overconfidence and arrogance also contribute to his poor performance in combat.
1 Sean
Sean takes the cake when it comes to being the weakest character in Street Fighter. He aspires to be just like Ken and thinks of himself as much more powerful than he really is. His fighting style is a cheap knockoff of Ken’s style and his skills are still stuck at an amateur level. Sean hates being compared to Dan, since he thinks Dan is much weaker than him, but fans of the series could definitely argue otherwise.
