Fortnite Season 4 Week 4 is set to begin this Thursday, September 17, and it will add a variety of new challenges to Epic Games’ battle royale sensation. As is customary, the specifics of these new Fortnite challenges have leaked online ahead of their official release, and players can find full details on the forthcoming tasks here.
In total, there are nine new weekly challenges slated for Fortnite Season 4 Week 4, and players that complete all of them will earn 250,000 XP. While this alone will not be enough to push fans to the top tiers of the latest Battle Pass, it is a sizable amount of XP, and players that have their sights set on the Silver, Gold, and Holographic foils in Fortnite Season 4 should certainly not miss out.
- Search Chests at Slurpy Swamp (0/7) – 25,000 XP
- Eliminations at Weeping Woods (0/3) – 25,000 XP
- Deal damage within 10 seconds of bouncing off an umbrella at Sweaty Sands (0/100) – 25,000 XP
- Destroy Collector Cases at The Collection (0/3) – 25,000 XP
- Hack Stark Robots at Stark Industries (0/5) – 25,000 XP
- Destroy Gatherers (0/20) – 25,000 XP

- Deal damage to opponents at The Authority (0/500) – 25,000 XP
As players that peruse this list will see, there are several challenges this week that simply require fans to perform very straightforward tasks at locations that are specifically indicated on Fortnite‘s map. These are the challenges that ask players to search Chests at Slurpy Swamp, get Eliminations at Weeping Woods, and deal damage at Sweaty Sands, Steamy Stacks, and The Authority, and they should all be easily completed by referencing the map and adhering to the provided instructions.
With respect to the other four Fortnite Season 4 Week 4 challenges, those may require further clarification:
The Collection is a new Point of Interest that was added in Season 4, and it is located on a hill just northeast of Catty Corner. Players should go ahead and smash some cases at this location upon their arrival, and they should make sure to pickup the Season 4 Week 3 Gold XP Coin while they are there.
Stark Industries is a new named location that was added to the map last week, and players will find a bevy of Stark Robots there. In order to hack these robots, fans must simply use their weapons to knock them down and then interact with them.
Gatherers are small machines spawned by Gorgers in Fortnite, and players that are working on this challenge should thus track those foes down. Once located, fans should use their guns to destroy the Gatherers and then quickly pickup their remains to use them as a weapon.
Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
