The new playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been revealed, and it has plenty of changes for players to try out. There is, a 3v3 sniper mode, a Domination Deathmatch mode, and a weekend-only Warzone mode. In addition, changes will be made to the Shoot the Ship-tember playlist. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare seems to be presenting a lot of variety in the week ahead for gamers to enjoy.
One of the biggest updates this week is the Shoot the Ship-tember playlist becoming two separate modes, both being 24/7. Players can jump between Shoot House and Shipment as they please. These two modes allow for plenty of chances to get crazy kills in close quarters, likely leading to more viral Modern Warfare killing spree videos.
New to the playlist this week is Gunfight 3v3 snipers. As with any sniping mode, players need to ensure they know the maps well so that they can properly be on the lookout for enemy snipers. Overtime puts a stressful end to matches, and there are plenty of opportunities to sneak up on unsuspecting campers and execute one of the many Call of Duty assassinations in the game.
Teams need to work together in Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone moshpit. Deathmatch Domination requires players to both capture points and kill opponents, combining elements of both modes. Drop Zone has teams compete over holding a drop point, raining care packages from the sky and filling the map with killstreaks. These game modes are popular with players, allowing for a variety of gameplay. If any gamer wants to check these modes out, it seems like now is as good a time as any take advantage of the current Activison sale.
This weekend only, players can play a new mode in Warzone called Mini Royale Trios. Since this is a short game mode, it allows players to experience the adrenaline rush from the beginning and end of a standard Battle Royale match without the long middle. Considering that Warzone has experienced some issues with bugs and glitches lately, players are unsure exactly how fun this game mode will end up being this weekend.
In addition to these playlist changes, there are two new bundles in the store. The Beyond the Pale bundle includes two Legendary blueprints, a new skin for Ghost, a watch, calling card, spray, quip, gesture, and a new weapon charm. The second bundle is Notice Me: IV and includes a sniper rifle blueprint that has both great range and accuracy. Also included in this bundle is a weapon charm, calling card, and an emblem.
The week will end with Double XP weekend. From September 25 at 10 am PT to September 28 at 10 am PT, players can enjoy Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass tier progression. Any gamers who experienced the Cold War alpha and want even more Call of Duty fun can get their fill with these playlist updates and new content.
