Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone finally reveal its season 6 start date and some of the new content coming with that. The reveal comes by way of an announcement from Activision and a season 6 cinematic featuring Farah and Nikolai in action. Players can expect to dig into what Season 6 has to offer on September 29th.
With the start date of Season 6 drawing so near, fans don’t have much time left to finish up Season 5’s battle pass. Dedicated players can rack up a lot of experience in the week before the next season starts, however, so players shouldn’t give up on filling out their Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle passes.
At the moment, there’s no official word on exactly what time the next season will drop, only a date of September 29th. Looking back at previous Call of Duty seasons doesn’t help much either, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare doesn’t seem to follow any sort of weekly reset schedule that would help narrow things down.
More likely than not, Activision will reveal what time the season will begin a day or two before the update, so fans will just need to remain patient until then. Alongside reintroducing the familiar characters of Farah and Nikolai, there will also be a ton of new features to be enjoyed within both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its battle royale counterpart. The aforementioned cinematic even introduces an underground subway system to Call of Duty: Warzone, meaning players will have all new ways to traverse the vast city of Verdansk.
There will no doubt be other additions at the start of the season, and a mid season update just like Season 5 Reloaded as well to keep things fresh for fans. A new battle pass will also keep fans busy, offering rewards including Farah and Nikolai and up to 1300 COD Points. Nikolai himself acts as the season’s most desirable reward, as players must reach tier 100 on their battle passes in order to unlock him. By contrast, Farah is unlocked automatically at tier 0 of the season 6 battle pass, but as usual alternate skins for her can be unlocked throughout the rest of the season.
Players only have one week to wrap up their business in Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone before the next season starts, bringing new characters, rewards, and more to the game. Fans that haven’t already done so will need to level up their Battle Pass quickly if they want to get all the rewards it offers.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 6 begins on September 29th.
