Fall Guys Asks Fans to Help Name New Obstacle | Game Rant

In true Fall Guys Twitter fashion, it’s asking for help in naming Big Yeetus’ medieval counterpart that will come as one of the obstacles once Season 2 rolls around.

Mediatonic is making strides in improving the new battle royale Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, or just making it more chaotic. Recently, the developers finally released Big Yeetus, a giant, ever-swinging hammer that could either ruin a challenge for players or send them straight to through the goal line. It’s already been causing massive chaos, whether it be in the form of wasting time attempting to properly line up the jelly bean with the hammer, or by sending players into glitched zones and forcing them into elimination.

Fall Guys has big plans for Season 2. As previously unveiled at Gamescom 2020 earlier this year, Season 2 will be medieval-themed, with new costumes and stages to match. The brand new stages will include new obstacles, such as moving blocks that fans are not looking forward to in terms of cooperation with competing strangers. There will also be another enormous spinning hammer, and Fall Guys has taken to Twitter users for suggestions on the name for Big Yeetus’ counterpart.

Yeetus’ friend will be much larger and seemingly capable of completely knocking players off the stage. Complete with spikes, this obstacle is sure to wreak a lot more havoc than is already expected for the upcoming season. It may be reminiscent of actual warfare devices used in medieval times, but Fall Guys isn’t looking for a historically accurate name to represent its new torture device. Some possible favorites of the official Twitter account include “Thicc Bonkus,” “Sir Yeetalot,” “Mince Meatus,” and “Chonky Roll,” but the opportunity to submit the official name is still open for fan suggestion.

Mediatonic has been looking for more ways to improve the game outside of what’s to come with Fall Guys Season 2. Released alongside Big Yeetus last week, the battle royale also adopted anti-cheat measures. It implemented Epic Games’ Easy Anti-Cheat system that it uses to protect Fortnite from hackers, as Cheater Island didn’t turn out to be as massive of a success as the developers would have hoped. The developers have also been working to enhance Slime Climb, which some consider to be one of the most difficult stages to overcome.

These updates come ahead Fall Guys Season 2. Though it hasn’t been officially announced, it’s assumed that Season 2 will immediately follow Season 1’s end on October 6th.

Fall Guys is available now for PC and PS4.
