Spider-Man: Miles Morales is easily one of the most anticipated PS5 launch games. Unlike some games which will simply be playable on the PS5 at launch with backward compatibility, like Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel’s Spider-Man has been revamped with next-gen features. The game will be remastered to utilize ray tracing, instant loading, 60fps and DualSense controller features such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. While many upcoming games will be gaining free next-gen upgrades, Spider-Man will have all the best features right out of the gate.
Spider-Man will also be one of the easiest comparisons between the PS4 and PS5’s technology and will be great chance for players to feel the generational difference in a well-loved game. Of course, players will still have the option of playing Miles Morales on PS4 if they choose, but for those who have been eagerly awaiting the next generation, Spider-Man is one of the best franchises to test it out. And for only an extra $20, the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition is definitely a great pick for gamers looking for a kickstart to the next generation of gaming.
