Huawei officially confirmed that some of the phones running EMUI 11 will be able to install HarmonyOS 2.0. The new version of the in-house operating system is being rolled out to developers in stages, the first beta for phones is expected this December.
A poster on Weibo claims to have seen the schedule and it goes like this – phones with the Kirin 9000 will get it first (those would be the Mate 40 series), then phones with Kirin 990 5G (some P40 and Mate 30 models) and so on.
Even rather old phones powered by the Kirin 710 and 810 will get to join in (after quite a wait). The “partial”…
