First-Party Switch Games Are On Sale at Best Buy | Game Rant

Ever since its introduction in 2017, the Nintendo Switch has taken the world by storm with its innovative hybrid console technology and a solid lineup of first-party games. However, one thing that Switch games are known for, especially, first-party titles, is that they barely go on sale unlike PS4 and Xbox One games. Luckily for Switch players, Best Buy is currently offering good deals on Nintendo Switch games that players should take advantage of now while they are still available.

Headlining Best Buy’s Switch games sale is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has been a popular game on the Switch for several years now. Currently, Breath of the Wild is available at Best Buy for $44.99 or $15 off its original price of $59.99. To the uninitiated, Breath of the Wild is an open-world action-adventure game that has received glowing reviews since its launch. Of course, much of the game’s success is attributed to its flawless execution of an open-world environment, immersive gameplay, exciting combat, and a deep narrative.

Another noteworthy game that players can pick up right now is New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, which is one of the best 2D platformer games for newbies that was released to the Switch last year. The game is available at Best Buy for $49.99, which is $10 off its original price of $49.99. Moreover, Best Buy is also offering other Mario games at a discount such as Super Mario Party, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Tennis Aces, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Moreover, Best Buy is also offering Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee for $44.99 each, which is $15 cheaper than its original price of $59.99. To the uninitiated, Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee are remakes of the iconic 1998 game, Pokemon Yellow. The games were first released in November of 2018 with the intention of introducing the classic Pokemon title to newcomers in the franchise.

While the Let’s Go games remained similar to the original game, Nintendo introduced new features to the remake such as connectivity to the hit mobile game Pokemon GO and support for an optional Poke Ball Pls controller. Shortly after its release, Pokemon Let’s Go received mostly positive reviews from both players and critics, and as of June 2020, both games have combined sales of over 12.20 million, making them one of the best-selling entries for the Nintendo Switch.
