Now that October is here Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players have a new month full of events to work through. The monthly Wizarding Weekend has already come and gone, but there is still a lot of action to come. Next up is part one of the Darkness Rising Brilliant Event, which is currently under way.
This month’s Brilliant Event follows the usual two-part formula and puts the spotlight on the dark side of the wizarding world and offers yet another opportunity to stock up on some exciting Defense Against the Dark Arts books as rewards for completing the full list of tasks during this Harry Potter: Wizards Unite event.
The Dark Arts are a popular part of the Harry Potter universe and this is the second event in October to put a focus on that school of magic. Players already explored a Dark Arts-themed Wizarding Weekend and now the Brilliant Event is offering even more opportunities to collect some Dark-themed foundables and exciting rewards.
The full list and tasks and rewards is now available, which means that players can start properly preparing for what the game has in store for them over the next week. As always, please keep in mind that this list could potentially change as the event progresses, but it seems like this is what’s up for grabs as of right now…

Although the game has been around for a while now, all of these opportunities to earn bonus XP and rank up can still provide plenty of motivation to stay engaged throughout the event. In addition, another opportunity to pick up more valuable Defense Against the Dark Arts Books should get players of any level invested in completing the tasks.
Some of the new Brilliant Event challenges might take a bit of time to complete, but for the most part the tasks are fairly straightforward and soloable. Just make sure you study up for your Great Spell casts.
Part 1 of the Brilliant Event kicked off on October 6 and spans through October 13, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. If any additional bonuses or rewards are revealed, we’ll be sure to post an update.
