Genshin Impact: Best Venti Build | Game Rant

Venti is a unique character in Genshin Impact in terms of both story and combat abilities. He plays a very important role in the game’s story, and once players figure out his true identity the reason for that will become clear. Those lucky enough to get him on their team will see a different side of Venti, though, and will begin to understand why Venti is consistently rated S Tier.

Venti is a powerful bow user that can use Anemo magic to deal heavy damage and support his allies. What makes him so unique is his supportive abilities, as he can make fights that would have been challenging a breeze by helping out the other characters on the team. Not many other Genshin Impact characters can exert as much control over the battlefield as Venti.

Venti’s elemental skill, Skyward Sonnet, can be used to launch enemies into the air with a current of wind. When charged, it creates an even larger current that Venti and other characters can glide on to gain height. His elemental burst is called Wind’s Grand Ode, and fires a massive vortex forward sucking in enemies and dealing anemo damage.

Though Venti is a capable damage dealer in his own right, he really shines as a support character. The anemo element in general enhances other elements with the swirl reaction, and his skills all hold enemies in place to make it easier for other characters to attack. With that in mind, the best build for Venti is to focus on energy recharge so that the elemental burst can be used as often as possible.

For this, players should consider using either the Viridescent Venerer or Noblesse Oblige set bonuses, as both of these increase the power of Venti’s elemental burst and provide bonuses to allies attacking enemies caught within it. In terms of weapons, the Favonius Warbow is widely considered the best weapon for this type of build, as it provides Venti with more energy recharge and a chance for critical hits to create elemental orbs. If used properly, Venti should be able to use his elemental burst as soon as it finishes cooling down.

Once the enemies are trapped within Venti’s elemental burst, players are free to switch to another character and use an elemental attack. This will trigger swirl and cause massive damage, especially if the Viridescent Venerer set bonus that lowers the enemy’s elemental resistances is active. Genshin Impact‘s 5-star Diluc is a great choice to pair with Venti, though he is equally difficult to get.

Genshin Impact is available now on Mobile, PC, and PS4, and later on Switch.
