A myriad of challenges have been made available over the course of Fortnite Season 4, and players that have completed them all have undoubtedly earned a great deal of XP. That said, the opportunities to make progress on Fortnite‘s Season 4 Battle Pass are certainly not over, and indeed a new batch of challenges will be made available this Thursday, October 15. For those players that want more details on these Season 4 Week 8 challenges, a full rundown can be found in what follows.
To note, these Fortnite Season 4 Week 8 challenges have been uncovered by way of datamining, and they are thus not officially confirmed at the time of writing. However, these datamines typically prove to be extremely accurate, and fans should expect the challenges that go live on Thursday to be very close, if not identical, to what is indicated in the following list.
- Search Chests at Sweaty Sands (0/7) – 25,000 XP
- Eliminations at Stark Industries (0/5) – 25,000 XP
- Drive a car or truck through a rift (0/1) – 25,000 XP
- Eliminate opponents while jumping or falling (0/5) – 25,000 XP
- Headshot Doom Henchmen or Stark Robots (0/35) – 25,000 XP
- Visit different Named Locations in a single match (0/5) – 25,000 XP
- Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles (0/15,000) – 50,000 XP
- Deal damage to opponents at Misty Meadows (0/500) – 25,000 XP
As is often the case, a majority of the challenges for this week are very straightforward, and a player that simply follows the instructions as written and looks to their map in Fortnite should have little trouble completing them. However, a couple of the Fortnite Season 4 Week 8 challenges could use some additional clarification, as there are some unique tasks to be found here.
The crux of completing this challenge is knowing where to find rifts, and there are several of them scattered across the map. Here is a map highlighting several rift locations, and players should simply hop into a car in Fortnite, drive to a rift that is nearby, and collect their XP:
As with the drive a car or truck through a rift task, this Fortnite Season 4 Week 8 challenge centers around understanding where to find certain objects on the map, and this time those objects are Doom Henchmen and Stark Robots. Fortunately, these NPCs are located at two named locations, Doom’s Domain and Stark Industries, and Fortnite players should find either one perfectly suitable for completing this challenge.
