Unicode this week unveiled 117 new emojis set for release in 2020.
Among pinched fingers, fondue, and magic wand icons are a long-awaited transgender flag and symbol, as well as seven more gender-inclusive symbols (including a Mx. Claus).
Fresh variations of existing emoji include a woman or “person” in a tuxedo and a gender-neutral individual or man in a bridal veil. You’ll also find more options when it comes to characters bottle-feeding a baby.
Announced on Wednesday by the Unicode Consortium, the latest figures are part of Emoji 13.0.
Hot off the presses, this batch covers every generation of texter—from Baby Boomers and Gen X (anatomical heart and lungs, pickup truck, headstone) to Millennials and Gen Z (potted plant, bubble tea, placard).
I am especially excited for the “disguised face” character: the emoji version of my dad (who looks just like a graying Groucho Marx).

New emoji typically start rolling out to mobile users in the fall, so keep an eye out between September and November for a ninja, dodo, blueberry, roller skate, piñata, mouse trap, and toothbrush, among others.
(Sadly, Baby Yoda did not make the cut. This year.)
As with all releases, the appearance of each character varies by platform, so that adorable polar bear head will look different across iOS, Android, WhatsApp, and Twitter.
