Though it may be tempting to get excited about PS4 exclusives making the jump to PC – now that we know it’s possible, this particular batch isn’t.
This week, Amazon France posted a flurry of new pages for PS4 exclusives like Bloodborne, Days Gone and even Persona 5 Royal; all seemingly coming to PC. As tenuous as this was, many believed the listings to be accurate.
Sony, for the first time ever, announced that it’s bringing PS4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn to PC. This unprecedented move no doubt made it easier to believe that more exclusives would be on the way to PC, but Sony has now said that this isn’t the case.
The platform holder confirmed to IGN that Amazon France’s listings – since removed – are not in fact accurate, reiterating that it has no plans to bring any other PS4 exclusives to PC.
“The listings are not accurate. We have made no announcements to bring these games to PC,” a spokesperson said.
Indeed, when Sony first announced Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC, Worldwide Studios boss Hermen Hulst said the company has no plans for day and date PC releases of its exclusives.
Horizon Zero Dawn comes to PC this summer.
