Sony has announced new release dates for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II and Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima. The Last of Us Part II was delayed from its original May 29 date earlier this month due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, while this is the first we’re hearing of a delay for Ghost of Tsushima.
In a PlayStation Blog post this morning, Sony confirmed the new dates as a result in an, “ease in the global distribution environment.” The Last of Us Part II will now release on June 19, while Ghost of Tsushima slides from its original June 26 date to July 17.
Both games are slated to come exclusively to PlayStation 4. For more on The Last of Us Part II, check out our preview from last year. To see Ghost of Tsushima is action, check out the impressive trailer from 2019’s The Game Awards.
