Chorus is a new space shooter coming next year.
On today’s Inside Xbox showcase, Deep Silver debuted the reveal trailer for a new game called Chorus. The game comes from the studio behind the Galaxy on Fire series, Fishlabs, and it’s due out on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia in 2021.
Chorus is a cinematic space shooter starring an ace pilot with a sentient starship. It promises a world of mysteries for you to explore, and “mind-bending” abilities to unlock for some action-packed combat. Today’s trailer shows off brief gameplay moments interspersed with some story cutscenes.
Story is a big part of Chorus, it turns out, and Fishlabs hopes it’ll deliver an evolution of the space shooter genre. Because Chorus is coming to both generations of Xbox, it’ll make use of Smart Delivery so you’ll only have to buy it once to get it on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
