Star Wars Episode 1: Racer is delayed, developer Aspyr confirmed today.
A remake of the PC and N64 retro classic, Star Wars Episode 1: Racer was slated to hit PS4 and Nintendo Switch tomorrow – May 12th. Now, the developer has taken to Twitter to announce both versions of the game will be delayed, with no future release date offered as of yet.
Aspyr cites recent work-from-home requirements as the reason for the delay.
“We are so excited to share Star Wars Episode l: Racer with you soon!” reads the tweet. “Unfortunately, due to the ongoing work from home requirements across the industry, the game will be further delayed on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. We’ll be back with an update as soon as possible.”
