The Last of Us: Part 2 is a story about the cycle of violence.
Sony has released the first in a series of developer diaries for The Last of Us: Part 2. This first episode focuses entirely on the game’s story, and what the developer wanted to achieve with the sequel’s narrative.
In the video, we get to hear from a number of Naughty Dog developers, including director Neil Druckmann, on the broader themes of the story, and a little bit about why the studio decided to go back to the world of The Last of Us after how the first game ended.
The video doesn’t feature footage we haven’t see before, and obviously doesn’t contain any story spoilers: just the basic premise and setup. So you should be okay to watch it. The next episodes will focus on gameplay, details, and the world, respectively.
The Last of Us: Part 2 recently went gold, and is already a worldwide Amazon best-seller despite the unfortunate leaks.
