According to a report coming straight from Taiwan, TSMC has received a $700 million order from Huawei for its 5 and 7nm chips. The 5nm bit is likely about the upcoming Kirin 1020 chipset while the 7nm order is all about the 5G baseband chips. However, TSMC is reportedly working on full capacity and won’t be able to take any more orders. And that’s not the only issue.
