Recent rumors speculate that a Bloodborne remaster developed by Bluepoint Games could be coming to PC and PS5.
Rumors about the potential for a Bloodborne remaster have been spreading like wildfire all weekend after a streamer called CaseyExplosion offered to donate $100 to a racial justice charity in exchange for some insider information about the future of Bloodborne. Check out the tweet below.
By the way, if any Sony folks or anyone who might be in the know wanna leak me some actual juicy details, I’ll donate $100 to the racial justice charity of your choice. 👍 https://t.co/psVt10Lsrd

CaseyExplosion followed up less than 20 minutes later, saying she not only knew that a Bloodborne remaster would be coming to PC, but also who was handling the port.
Okay, that was fast! I not only know it’s coming to PC, I even know who’s doing the port. 😙👌❤️

CaseyExplosion later confirmed that a Bloodborne remaster was definitely happening, and claimed to have heard the news straight from a trusted source at Sony. However, she declined to share specific details, making the the claims difficult to fully verify.
For those just joining me, yes Bloodborne *will* be coming to PC, I’ve had it confirmed by a very trusted source, and I have a lot of faith in the company who’s doing the port, you won’t be disappointed. It genuinely is happening. pic.twitter.com/Gik2QA5J5q

According to CaseyExplosion, the source also confirmed that the Bloodborne PC port was due to be announced at the PS5 event scheduled for June 4, which was postponed out of solidarity with the protests against racial injustice and police brutality in the US.
Hey new followers.
So, about that Bloodborne PC port. You would’ve been hearing about it today anyway, because as far as I understand it, it was due to be announced at the now-delayed PS5 event that was scheduled for today. pic.twitter.com/93KOIlLr6D

Although CaseyExplosion claimed to know who was handling the rumored Bloodborne remaster, she never revealed any names in her tweets. However, a YouTuber who goes by the handle PC Gaming Inquisition claimed afterwards that the port was being handled as a joint effort between Bluepoint games, of Shadow of the Colossus remake fame, and QLOC, who worked on Dark Souls Remastered.

Industry analysts on Twitter were quick to jump on board, sharing details of the various rumors in circulation.

“Bloodborne remaster coming to PC and PS5 ‘soon,’” wrote Nibel. “Developed by Q Loc and Bluepoint Games. Better textures and models, better loading times and more QoL improvements. 60 FPS, 4K, ultra-wide support. Coming to Steam apparently.”
Nibel goes on to explain that due to the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn PC port, it wouldn’t be unusual to see an influx of Sony blockbusters make their way to Steam. Check out the tweet below.
While I’m not sure if every game in the image is coming to PC, I would not be surprised to see a lot of them coming over after Horizon proves to be successful
Also, it’s easy to shit on smaller channels but weirder rumors have come from weirder places
— Nibel (@Nibellion) June 5, 2020
The main trouble with this entire rumor is that fans already suspect that Bluepoint is hard at work on a Demon’s Souls remake. In response to a commenter on his thread, Nibel said the “Demon’s Souls remake is happening.”
Nah, Demon’s Souls remake is happening

It’s just a rumor at present, but the likelihood of a Bloodborne remaster has increased after the confirmation that Horizon would be launching for PC later this year. It appears we’ll just have to wait until the rescheduled PS5 event to see whether or not the rumors hold weight.
