Our first look at PlayStation 5 games is just a few hours away.
Today, the long awaited (and once delayed) PS5 showcase event takes place, giving us a look at new first and third-party games coming to Sony’s next-gen console.
Today’s livestream kicks off at 1pm PT, 4pm ET, 9pm BST and will go on for a bit over an hour. You can follow along on Twitch and YouTube. You’ll find the player embedded below.
The stream will only be available in 1080p at 30fps, which is disappointing given that many of these games will probably run at or close to 4K on PS5. After the show, many of the trailers will be available at higher-quality on official channels. Interestingly, Sony recommended that you listen using headphones because of some “cool audio work.”
Sony didn’t specifically say if we’re going to be given a look at the box, or console UI, and there’s been no hints about the price. Still, these details could make their way into it.
