It looks like the XIII remake is due for release this November.
Official listings for XIII remake’s various editions went up ahead of time on Amazon Spain. Spotted by Gematsu, all listings confirm a November 10 release date.
That date goes for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, but it has yet to be officially announced. It’s also a bit amusing the game is due out in November, because it was also meant to release last November before it was delayed.
XIII is a rarely remembered cel-shaded shooter from 2003. The story is based on a graphic novel by the same name, where a soldier who lost his memory gets accused of killing the President of the United States. With few clues and a mysterious tattoo, the protagonist goes on to uncover the plot against the President and the people who framed him.
The remake, developed by PlayMagic, includes the single-player campaign as well as multiplayer.
This release date announcement was likely intended to go live alongside a new trailer IGN will be running later today, as part of its Summer of Gaming event. In any case, the Amazon page brought us a few new screenshots, which we’ve embedded below alongside last year’s trailer.
