Device imaging in the IT world has been commonplace for a very long time. It’s the process of taking a purchased laptop/desktop and applying a custom setup before deploying it to the end-user. This custom setup will include items like corporate applications, corporate policies, etc. Once a custom image has been applied to the machine, it can then be deployed to the end-user.
