Those in need of a Shonen Jump fix on the Nintendo Switch will soon get just that with Jump Force: Deluxe Edition. Like the name suggests, this will not only finally bring Bandai Namco’s crossover fighter to the Switch, but it will come with more content right out of the box, especially for those who pre-order.
On top of the base game and nine of its DLC characters, the publisher revealed a handful of additional perks that are included as part of a special early adoption promotion in North America. It includes a mix of cosmetic Shonen Jump-themed items that players will be able to deck their avatar out in, such a piece of Saiyan armor from Dragon Ball Z, a Hokage cloak from Naruto, and a pirate jacket from One Piece. Players will also receive a Dragon Ball-inspired Lobby Vehicle to ride around in, along with bonus boosts to power up their avatar with.
Specifically, anyone who pre-orders Jump Force: Deluxe Edition or purchases it by September 29 will also receive a Jump Starter Pack that comes with the following:
- Skill Energy Red ×50
- Skill Energy Blue ×50
- Skill Energy Green ×50
- Health boost(L) ×5
- Attack Boost(L) ×5
- Physical Resistance Boost(L) ×5
- Elemental Resistance Boost(L) ×5
This isn’t the only new content fans have to look forward to in the near future. After receiving new characters like My Hero Academia’s Shoto Todoroki, it was confirmed last week that Hunter x Hunter’s Meruem will be coming to Jump Force soon as its next DLC fighter.
Jump Force: Deluxe Edition will launch for the Switch on August 28. The regular version, meanwhile, is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
