Destiny 2 Glitch Makes Completing Adventures Easy | Game Rant

Solstice of Heroes has returned to Destiny 2 and it has presented many objectives for fans to complete, one of which has an interesting workaround for players looking for looking to blaze through Adventures.

Destiny 2 players are always on the lookout for ways to glitch through the game’s challenges or to simply shorten the grind. Fans were pleasantly surprised to learn that Bungie implemented a progression multiplier for Solstice of Heroes, but that hasn’t stopped fans from continuing to look for ways to efficiently complete tasks.

The objective in question asks players to complete 5 of Destiny 2’s Adventures, and while this task shouldn’t be as big of a pain to complete, some players have reported issues with progress multipliers and Adventure availability, so the trick is still handy.

Players need to do is head over to the Rig on Titan, join or start a Contact public event, collect one mote of Darkness, and then start an adventure. Doing so will stop the enemies of the Adventure from attacking the player, making it easy to stroll through. Like almost all PvE content, most of Destiny’s Adventures culminate in a boss fight, so, all that remains for the player to do is to travel to the end of the mission and kill the final enemy. According to the author of the original post, the trick works on all of Titan’s Adventures.

It isn’t clear exactly why this happens, but for some reason having a mote seems to tag that player as friendly to enemy units. Traditionally, reports of enemies not attacking players were tied to Destiny’s connection problems, but this trick doesn’t appear to be related to connection, at least on the surface.

Of course, this cheese method is only possible because the Contact public event is on Titan this week. In a few days, it will switch back to being on Io and nobody currently knows for sure if the cheese method will work there too, though some players have reported that this particular gimmick works in the Savathun’s Song Nightfall as well. However, the effect wears off once the player traverses deep enough into the strike.

For those who don’t see any Adventures on Titan at the moment, it could be because they have been completed by that character once before. Adventures on a destination can no longer be redone unless that destination is the Flashpoint for the week.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
