Dr Disrespect is one of the most famous gaming streamers on the internet. Ever since he’s started streaming on YouTube, his popularity has returned full force, and many of his viewers have been making fan art and other unique creations online. While all this excitement going on, fans can also now pre-order a copy of the former Twitch streamer’s memoir.
Even though Dr Disrespect claims that he still doesn’t know the reason for his Twitch ban, he has returned to streaming on YouTube. Fans have celebrated his return by recreating him as a character in Soul Calibur 6 or decorating his effigy on a cake. Despite the gaming personality’s break from streaming for nearly two months, the streamer is still as popular as ever. Just like his fans, Dr Disrespect has also been busy — not just with gaming, but also preparing his own memoir.
Dr Disrespect took to Twitter to announce the book is now available for pre-order. The memoir, which is titled Violence. Speed. Momentum., takes a deep dive into the streamer’s journey and describes how he’s gotten to this point. The book’s description also promises suggestions and advice for fans about numerous different topic such as “growing superior mullets” and “thoroughly dominating life.” This memoir is also a sizable length, spanning 224 total pages filled with Dr Disrespect imparting his experiences and wisdom for his viewers to enjoy.
Many of his viewers responded to the tweet, excited to see what the book contains. Some eager fans are saying that if the streamer is getting into books, then maybe movies aren’t far behind, though Dr Disrespect has not said anything along these lines in the past. Many are also hoping that there will be ways to get their hardcopies signed as well, but he has not mentioned any avenues for this yet. While the pre-order is now available, fans will be able to read the book on March 30, 2021, so there is still a fair amount of time until the book itself is available. Violence. Speed. Momentum. costs $27 in US currency.
While fans wait seven months for the book to be released, there are other ways that they can celebrate Dr Disrespect other than watch his streams. Recently, the streamer (and former level designer) has designed a map for Rogue Company, so fans can ready their gaming skills for when the map is released while they wait for Dr Disrespect’s book to come out.
