Deathloop is an intriguing first-person shooter that involves assassinating eight different targets within the span of one in-game day. It’s in development at Arkane Studios (a name you may recognize from Dishonored and Prey), and was initially scheduled to hit later this year. However, that plan has changed according to a recent announcement from the studio.

Deathloop will now release in the second quarter of 2021, according to the tweet from the official Deathloop Twitter account. The main reason Arkane provides for the move is the slower-than-expected development as a result of the global pandemic.
