It appears that the FR 5.56 Assault Rifle had an upgrade in Season 5 of Warzone and the range increase has also carried over to the under-barrel attachment. The team at Infinity Ward has now recognized the problem and claim to be working on it. However, it is unclear when the fix will arrive and how it will be prioritized against other issues that have impacted the gameplay of Warzone.
The team behind Warzone is working hard to address issues as quickly as possible and balancing fan demands alongside satisfying updates is undoubtedly a difficult task. However, many will hope that the glitches in Warzone do become less frequent so that they can enjoy the game without fearing random elements diminishing their experience.
The battle royale title is giving most players a satisfying experience and it seems that Infinity Ward is working hard to further the enjoyment of players. With that in mind, this issue should be fixed soon with the only tangible downside being that the FR 5.56 Assault Rifle becomes a gun that not many players want once again.
