Football season kicks off next month, and as per usual, fans of the Madden series will be able to greet it with a new game, courtesy of this month’s release of Madden NFL 21. And as fans have come to expect, the game will be accompanied by a catchy soundtrack.
So far, EA’s focus with marketing 2020’s installment in the series has centered on the improvements being made to the gameplay formula, such as the addition of X-Factor abilities or Madden NFL 21’s new backyard football mode, The Yard. Recently, though, the publisher pivoted away from all that to reveal the full track list for the game’s soundtrack, which is now available to listen to in its entirety on Apple Music and Spotify.
Continuing the series’ trend of emphasizing hip-hop tunes, the soundtrack features “18 bangers that were created or curated especially for the game.” Said bangers include Terrell Hines’ “On Fire,” which will serve as the game’s Start Menu track, and Jack Harlow’s “Automatic,” the tune that accompanied Madden NFL 21’s reveal trailer.

Combined with the additional music being composed for Franchise mode and The Yard, Madden NFL 21 is set to sport a soundtrack that EA says “will elevate the season, the spirit of the game, and the future of hip-hop culture like never before.”
Madden NFL 21 launches on August 28 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions planned to follow.
