Now, the Epic Games store is planning to sweeten the deal for their millions of new players by combining a free version of the Total War: Troy “Amazons” DLC that will release in September 2020 free of charge. However, the offer is only available for a limited amount of time, so fans need to act now before time is up if they want to cash in on the deal.
Fans who are looking to get the Amazons DLC for free will need to follow a series of steps to link their Total War account with their Epic Games Store account through both of the websites. To do that, players need to go to the Total War website and register their account. Fans need to type in the link https://access.totalwar.com/auth/email_register/ and follow the directions on the page and enter in their username, email, and password.
After acknowledging the Total War’s privacy policy agreement, players should then receive a confirmation email to activate the account and follow the instructions provided within the email. After that, players should log back into the Total War website and click the “My Account” option. Fans should find a link that says “Connect to Epic Games Store” and click on it. Players will be redirected to the Epic Games Store website, and from there, simply log in and allow access to the Total War account.
After fans complete all of that, they are entirely done and should receive the Amazons DLC when it comes out. It should automatically pop up on the player’s Epic Games Store account once it launches in September. Total War Saga: Troy plans to release other smaller DLC in the months following Amazons slowly, but those will be free for everyone regardless of whether or not the player received the game within the twenty four hour release date.
