Final Fantasy 14 is coming off of a major patch update. Patch 5.3 added a ton of new story content, made sweeping job changes, and expanded Final Fantasy 14‘s free trial to include the game’s epic Heavensward expansion. And now Square Enix is bringing back one of its most popular in-game events, as the Gather One, Gather All tie-in event with Yo-Kai Watch is returning.
The Yo-Kai Watch event lets Final Fantasy 14 players do a variety of tasks in an effort to earn a ton of great Yo-Kai Watch-themed rewards. Returning rewards include 13 of the game franchise’s most popular Yo-Kai as minions, including Jibanyan, Komasan, and the haunting Manjimutt. Each minion also has an accompanying weapon skin. Also returning is the ever-popular Whisper-go Mount, the event’s most notorious prize.
But the Gather One, Gather All event isn’t just delivering older content that most dedicated Final Fantasy 14 players already have. It also has a variety of new content to unlock. The list of new content includes four new minions, Lord Enma, Lord Ananta, Zazel, and Damona. And to accompany each of the four new minions is a new weapon skin, the Gunblade of the Yo-kai King, Rapier of the Serpent Lord, Katana of the King’s Counsel, and Glaives of the Dark Princess.
The Yo-Kai Watch event is already available in-game and is planned to stick around until the release of Patch 5.4, which could be months away since patch 5.3 just landed. That means that Final Fantasy 14 players have plenty of time to earn as many Yo-kai medals as they need.
Final Fantasy 14 is available now on PC and PS4.
