This game was the followup to Super Mario Bros. 3-which was a huge success. It was obvious that Super Mario World would achieve the same level of praise. You know the drill- Bowser kidnaps the Princess and Mario sets out on a journey to rescue her. But this time he has a new friend named Yoshi. Yoshi was a good addition to the gameplay: he eats enemies and gains different powers.
There is so much to explore that it never gets old. It was the first and best selling SNES game, with more than 20 million copies being sold. It holds up to the retro graphics, addictive story, and challenging obstacles of its predecessor.
6 Super Mario 64- 94

Bowser needs to see a therapist for his obsession with kidnapping Princesses.
The interactive controls are weaved into its gameplay, so the players can feel the same way as the character on the screen. Critics praised it for going back to the roots of Mario games and making people realize why they loved the franchise in the first place.
3 Super Mario Galaxy- 97
Super Mario Galaxy can be seen as a spiritual successor to Super Mario 64. It takes a new take on the Plumber’s adventures and sends him to space this time. Bowser lifts the castle of Princess Peach into space and launches Mario at a distant planer. There he meets Rosalina- who can help Mario return to earth. Mario and his new friend Cappy. chase him on a ship called Odyssey throughout the space. Stopping at different planets and defeating the enemies there. The story goes like this: Bowser sends his children- Koopalings- to invade the seven kingdoms of the Mario world and steal the wand from every ruler there. Mario and Luigi are dispatched by Princess Toadstool to retrieve the wands and chase away the Koopalings. At the seventh kingdom, the brothers receive a note from Bowser stating that he had kidnapped the Queen. Both heroes travel to his castle, defeat Bowser and rescue the Princess.
The game provides the best Mario experience with its innovative obstacle courses, gorgeous graphics, and detailed character design. Due to its huge success, an animated TV series The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 was also made. This game is regarded as the best, after 3 decades. It’s the prime example that high-end graphics don’t make a game.
