The newest Hitman 3 trailer reveals a location and mission that could excite players who love a good murder mystery story. The latest mission revealed for Agent 47 leads him to the rolling hills of Dartmoor, England. Although Hitman 3 will have every mission from the previous Hitman titles, the mission revealed in the trailer will put players in a very unique scenario.
The trailer highlights the dreary halls of Thornbridge Manor, the site of an untimely suicide and the home of a wealthy and mysterious family. Fans of Hitman can see exactly how Agent 47 will navigate the many rooms, halls, and secret channels of Thornbridge Manor as he attempts to find his target. Most Hitman missions are extremely complex and require a ton of strategy, and it seems like the Thornbridge Manor mission will require even more strategy and critical thinking to solve a murder.
The trailer itself looks extremely smooth. The elegance of an English manor is shown off by the level of detail for every extravagant decoration in every giant room. Like many Hitman locations, the manor will provide many areas for different interactions and ways to complete the mission.
For fans of Hitman games, much of the fun is replaying missions in order to find different ways to complete them. Based on the trailer, players will have plenty of choices on how to take out their target, and will involve interacting with different family members and learning their stories.
It is most likely that Thornbridge Manor will be one of the main story missions, but like other Hitman games, will most likely be a playable location in other game modes like Elusive Targets, Escalations, and Contracts Mode. Fans have not been very happy with Hitman 3‘s lack of multiplayer, but hopefully the focus on the single player game modes will distract from the lack of multiplayer.
Fans have also noticed that Hitman 3‘s PC port will only be available on the Epic Games Store. Although it is possible for Hitman 3 to launch on Steam, it will have to wait minimum of one year as Epic Games Store has the timed-exclusive launch. However, the first Hitman game will be free on Epic Games from August 27th to September 3rd as a bonus.
PlayStation players are in for the best treat because Hitman 3 will have VR support for the PlayStation port when it does launch. Although a new VR system has not been announced for PS5, rumors suggest that a new PlayStation VR headset will release along with the console. There will be many ways to play Hitman 3 and players can soon find themselves at Thornbridge Manor, disguised as Detective 47.
Hitman 3 is releasing in January 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
