During one of his recent streams, Shroud reacted to the trailer in front of his viewers and had many positive things to say about the game. He specifically stated that he likes the direction the Call of Duty series is heading with this game. As the franchise has evolved, the games have been aiming for a high level of realism, and the streamer thinks it will get even better with the upcoming Black Ops Cold War. Shroud said that Modern Warfare is the closest the FPS game series has gotten to the level the developer is trying to achieve.
Shroud praises the Call of Duty trailer and believes that it will be even more realistic than Modern Warfare. He says that the trailer used a lot of “real footage” from the Cold War era.
