Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Harley Quinn Voice Actor is Tara Strong

Following years of speculation, Rocksteady finally announced Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League at DC FanDome. The highly-anticipated game features an impressive cast of playable characters, including Suicide Squad mainstay Harley Quinn. And now it’s been confirmed exactly who is providing the voice work for Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League when the game launches for PC and next-generation consoles in 2022.

As confirmed by Tara Strong on Twitter, the prolific voice actress is indeed the voice of Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This is far from the first time that Strong has portrayed Quinn, having provided the voice for the character well over 20 times across TV, animated films, and video games. Strong has even played Harley Quinn for Rocksteady before, voicing the character in Batman: Arkham City and Arkham Knight.

It makes sense for Strong to be playing Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Not only does her extensive experience playing the character make her the ideal candidate, but it should go a long way in maintaining the series’ continuity. For the uninitiated, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice is a sequel to Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham games, so the Harley Quinn seen in the new game is the same character that appeared in the previous games, making the Strong casting choice all the better.

While Strong is providing the voice for Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the rest of the voice cast has yet to be revealed. The Suicide Squad playable characters include the likes of Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark as well, so it will definitely be interesting to see who is playing them in the new game.

Of course, there will be other characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League besides the playable ones. The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League reveal trailer confirms Superman as one of the main antagonists in the game, and it’s likely that he will be voiced. It’s also heavily implied that classic Superman villain Braniac will be featured in the game as well, and one has to imagine that there will be appearances made by many other DC Comics characters, if Rocksteady’s previous work is any indication.

Unfortunately, with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League‘s release date not until 2022, it may be quite some time until fans see who else will be a part of the cast. But hopefully Rocksteady keeps fans engaged with regular development updates between now and then.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches in 2022 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
