Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 is speeding into its mid season Reloaded update, and fans are looking for the right weapons to use in the next half of the season. Nickmercs believes he has found the strongest assault rifle in the game, unveiling a unique Warzone loadout.
The Warzone meta continues to evolve with the “best” weapon rotating frequently depending on the game’s state. Streamer NICKMERCS has, in the past, included the MP5, MG34 LMG, and CR-56 AMAX as his favorite weapons in the game. Despite that, his new favorite Assault Rifle loadout seems to blow away all his previous favorite for a multitude of reasons.
The RAM-7 has been a topic of discussion for the Warzone community since it came to the game. It is known for being a hard to control weapon, but NICKMERCS seems to believe that the gun has untapped potential. In one of his newest videos, NICKMERCS clarified that although there are other good assault rifles, the RAM-7 is the strongest in its class. As an assault rifle, the RAM-7 will win most gunfights in mid-range and close distances. There are several ways to build this weapon to make up for its high recoil and low control, but NICKMERCS claims that the following loadout is by far the strongest.
Muzzle – Monolith Suppressor
Barrel – FSS Ranger
Optic – Corp Combat Holo Sight
Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
Ammunition – 50 Round Mags
NICKMERCS calls this build the ‘Snap Dragon.’ The attachment setup seems to increase the accuracy and range of the weapon allowing players to beam down enemies in a matter of seconds. Quickly the RAM-7 rivals most guns in Warzone, and only gets stronger in the hands of a skilled player.
By adding the FSS Ranger barrel and Commando Foregrip the RAM-7 quickly becomes a powerful long-range weapon far extending its use from its normal accuracy zones. Pair this with a 50 Round Mag and players can fire for quite a while without having to worry about reloading. One clip could easily wipe an entire squad if positioned right.
The gun got a chance to show its potential when NICKMERCS used it in a livestream. In one of the first games using this loadout, he quickly dropped 20 players, commenting, “It just downs them so fast.” Although balance changes could always shift the power of this weapon, it seems that NICKMERCS will be using the RAM-7 as his go-to gun for the time being.
