Shroud Reveals Valorant Changes He Wants to See | Game Rant

Valorant has only been out for a few months after a successful beta release, but during that time, the FPS game has shown itself to be very popular. Many Twitch streamers have taken to playing the game, and one of the streamers that picked up the game is Shroud.

Shroud recently returned to Twitch after Microsoft shut down Mixer last month, and since then, he has been playing a lot of Valorant on his stream. While he has generally been enjoying the game, he also has a few suggestions for Riot Games that he thinks would improve the game for himself and other players as well.

While streaming Valorant, Shroud told his viewers about some changes that he believes would make the game more enjoyable. One thing that he would like to see is new Agents added to the game. While the game in new and Riot Games continues to add Agents such as Agent Killjoy, the streamer said he would like to have more options. He suggested a character like Jett, but replaces Jett’s Cloudburst ability with a brief flash. Another addition that Shroud would like for the game is more maps. The game currently has four maps, but the streamer thinks that seven or eight maps would give players more variety.

Shroud also broached the controversial subject of Valorant operator (OP) weapon with his stream as well. As the weapon currently is, it can take down opponents in one shot while not costing the player a huge amount of credits. Shroud suggests that the weapon should be more of a risky buy so that players won’t automatically go for the OP. If the price of the OP is increased, then he says players can look at it as a potential investment that can set them back if their team loses the round. This will make the decision to get an OP more risky while at the same time rewarding players who use it effectively. In Shroud’s opinion, he thinks that 5,500 Creds are a good place to start on the price, which can be added to if needed.

While Shroud isn’t seeing the game from the perspective of Riot Games, he is giving voice to a lot of things that many players would like to see changed. Valorant is still getting some issues sorted out with the game, but going forward, the developer should take these ideas into account.

Valorant is available now for PC.
