The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope Special Bundle Coming From Bandai Namco

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope episode is set to be released just before Halloween. For those unaware, the Dark Pictures Anthology is from Until Dawn developers Supermassive, and delivers similar horror vignettes.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope episode features five main protagonists that players will take control of, including Hollywood star Will Poulter. Now, Bandai Namco is offering an exclusive bundle for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope exclusively through the company’s official storefront ahead of the game’s release.

As many fans of Supermassive may know, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope was delayed fairly significantly from its original release date this summer. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the team behind the game had to push the game back to October 30. While the wait is a bit frustrating for fans, the new release date is perfect for players who want to embrace the game’s spooky premise around Halloween. Now, Bandai Namco is offering a special bundle for fans who want a bit more swag with their game.

The bundle in question offers some exclusive goodies for players. A physical ragdoll collector’s item that will be featured throughout the episode is included, along with a SteelBook case with disk space for each episode of the anthology. Finally, the bundle includes a copy of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope for the buyer’s console of choice. Recently, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope release date was revealed as October 30 by Supermassive in a trailer featuring new gameplay of the episode.

It’s important to note that digital preorders for the game are also available online through PS4 and Xbox One should players want to purchase the game that way. Though, some fans are speculating what the rest of the episodes will look like seeing as next-generation consoles are on the horizon. Recently, Supermassive talked about the possibilities that the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller could bring to its games. Supermassive expertly integrated the DualShock 4 controller into tense scenarios in Until Dawn, so the possibilities with DualSense could be even greater.

While Supermassive has announced no plans to bring the remaining episodes to next-generation consoles, the company will likely address the issue sometime closer to the release of Little Hope. Regardless, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope around Halloween, as it is still set to hit PS4 and Xbox One on October 30. Supermassive has plans for eight total episodes in The Dark Pictures Anthology o it’s anyone’s guess as to when or how the remaining episodes will shake out for players.
