Can I pre-order Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S?
Not yet. However, pre-orders for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will be available from 22nd September. Microsoft confirmed the news along with the official price and release date for both consoles.

What will be the price of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S?
The Xbox Series X is priced at $499/£449/€499. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S will cost $299/£249/€299. Feels good to finally be able to answer that question!
We’ve come a long way from both Microsoft and Sony are staring each other down, waiting for the other to reveal their next-gen console price first. Instead, it seems Microsoft just decided to come out and drop the stunning news of the low price Xbox Series S. Clearly, it’s still a decent chunk of change, but a next-gen console for $300? Of course, you do have to factor in the smaller storage and non-native 4K capabilities of the cheaper console. Still, I don’t think many of us expected that!
And while that’s relatively inexpensive compared to current consoles and our expectations for the more powerful Xbox Series X, the deal could be even sweeter if you look to buy one through the Xbox All-Access programme.
Buying an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S using Xbox All-Access
Microsoft will be bringing back its Xbox All-Access financing scheme for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S purchases. In the past, this has allowed you to buy an Xbox console from select retailers with a monthly fee on 0% finance – and two years of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate included as well.
Good news! You’ll be able to do the same again with the next-gen consoles. The Xbox Series X will cost $35 per month, while the Xbox Series S will set you back $25 per month. Both include two years of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Microsoft also confirmed that Xbox All-Access will be coming to more regions and retailers than ever before this year. You can check if you’re one of the lucky ones who can buy a new Xbox for a monthly fee on the Xbox Wire.
Now, we’re aware that paying through finance may not be the best option for everyone (and you’ll have to pass checks through the lenders Microsoft is working alongside) but if you’re in a position to do so it could offer a very affordable way to buy a new Xbox. Not forgetting the ever-growing library of Game Pass games and Xbox Live Gold bonuses that come with the included Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
And that about covers everything for now. If any more info on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S pre-orders comes to light we’ll be sure to return to this page with all the latest. And, once the big day finally arrives, you should definitely come back here as we’ll have a big old list of all the retailers offering a pre-order for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Until then, we wait patiently.
