Ever since Activision dropped the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War reveal trailer, information on the game has been coming out nonstop. This includes information on what fans of the franchise can get if they decide to pre-order the new game, with the pre-order bonuses for Black Ops Cold War shown at the end of the reveal trailer.
Perhaps the biggest selling point for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War digital pre-order is early access to the open beta. Activision has confirmed that a Black Ops Cold War open beta will take place for the game at some point before launch, with rumors pointing to the beta happening at some point in October. Specifics as to when the open beta will start or how far in advance fans will get to play it have yet to be revealed. In any case, those on PS4 will get even earlier access to the Black Ops Cold War open beta than those on PC or Xbox.
The other pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available instantly to everyone regardless of platform. Those that decide to pre-order Black Ops Cold War digitally right now ill get instant access to the special Frank Woods Operator Bundle, which includes access to the titular Black Ops fan favorite character, as well as a special Assault Rifle weapon blueprint.
While some may be satisfied with the Frank Woods Operator Bundle as a pre-order bonus, others may be waiting to learn a bit more about the open beta before they decide to pre-order the new game.
