Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Reloaded Combat Pack Available Now for PS Plus Subscribers

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have plenty to enjoy right now. With the Games of Summer event going on, on top of the new Season 5 content, the game has plenty to offer gamers. That doesn’t stop Activision from releasing more, as Modern Warfare and Warzone players get access to a new cosmetic and accessory bundle until October 1. Unfortunately, it looks like this is currently restricted to PS Plus subscribers.

Modern Warfare still has a few days left of its Games of Summer event. There are new modes, special trials, and of course plenty of competition. Players can compete against other countries, just like a Call of Duty Olympic Games. There is no better way to do this than in style, and PS Plus subscribers have access to a whole bundle of new goodies. The Combat Pack bundle, inspired by the in-game Atlas Superstore, includes an epic operator skin for Otter, a legendary pistol weapon blueprint, an epic knife, a calling card, a weapon charm, an emblem, and also a 60-minute Double XP token.

While the Combat Pack bundle is free for PS Plus Subscribers, there is another bundle in the store that costs some money. The return of the Kawaii Mara bundle has made many players happy for another chance to get the cat-themed cosmetics. Fans were asking for this to return, and it seems like Activision paid attention to those requests.

Another thing that may be released but has not been fully announced is a leaked sniper rifle. Footage was released of a bolt-action sniper that is in the game files but hasn’t been announced to be making an official appearance yet. Although weapons don’t always make the complete transition into the game, this one seems powerful enough that many fans are hoping it arrives sooner than later.

On the more negative side of item releases, the Frank Woods skin has gotten a lot of hate since it was officially revealed. Many Modern Warfare players were excited for the legend to make his way into the game but were disappointed with the actual appearance of his character. Instead of representing the Woods that many players grew to love in Black Ops, the character model is rounded and blurry. Hopefully, Activision will listen to the fans once more and clean up the model.

Players still have time to show off their Combat Pack cosmetics in the Games of Summer event before it ends on September 4. The next Double XP day will be right after that on September 7, so players can use these new accessories while they earn Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass Tier Progression.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
