League of Legends: PsyOps 2020 Missions and Rewards | Game Rant

After an event ends, League of Legends players usually get several dead weeks to calm down. Following Spirit Blossom 2020’s recent conclusion, the community was surprised to get missions for some new summoner icons. However, no one was expecting the next event, PsyOps 2020 to arrive so soon and run from September 3rd to September 30th.

PsyOps is a new skinline from another future universe where its agents fight against the enigmatic Black Rose Group and the new event centers around this conflict. Compared to normal, PsyOps 2020 lasts just under 4 weeks because League’s 2020 World Championship is starting towards the end of September. Besides less time, the event itself still has everything like usual without the added complexity of Spirit Blossom’s bonding with each champion.

Just like before, all players get access to a series of free missions that can be completed multiple ways. The first mission rewards an exclusive PsyOps icon while the others give 10 PsyOps tokens each.

1. Breaking and Entering: Win a game where the team destroyed 7+ structures or Play 5 games.
2. Get To Work: Kill 200 minions or Play 7 games.
3. Coordinate: Play a matchmade game with at least 1 friend or Play 3 games.
4. Converge: Get a takedown (kill or assist) where the entire team contributed or Play 5 games.
5. Liberation: Win a game as a PsyOps Operative (champion with a PsyOps skin) or Win 2 Summoner’s Rift games or Play 4 games.

While there are only 5 PsyOps missions listed, players can also see a BRG mission when they begin the event, so more details on other missions will pop up eventually. Furthermore, there is one more PSYOPS mission that awards 50 tokens and a PsyOps orb for playing 30 games. Riot has also confirmed that completing all the free missions will give 300 tokens.

With their hard-earned tokens, players can choose 1 item out of most things in the shop for free.

2. PsyOps Ezreal Prestige Edition + Icon – 2000 Tokens
3. PsyOps Master Yi Chroma (Hunter) + Icon – 300 Tokens
4. PsyOp Shen Chroma (Hunter) + Icon – 300 Tokens
5. PsyOps Vi Chroma (Hunter) + Icon – 300 Tokens
6. PsyOps Sona Chroma (Hunter) + Icon – 300 Tokens
7. PsyOps Ezreal Icon + Border – 250 Tokens
8. PsyOps Master Yi Icon + Border – 250 Tokens
9. PsyOps Shen Icon + Border – 250 Tokens
10. PsyOps Vi Icon + Border – 250 Tokens
11. PsyOps Sona Icon + Border – 250 Tokens
12. PsyOps Orb – 200 Tokens
13. Mystery Emote – 60 Tokens
14. Random League of Legends Champion Shard – 50 Tokens
15. 3 Keys – 180 Tokens
16. 1 Key – 60 Tokens
17. 1 Key Fragment – 20 Tokens
18. 100 Blue Essence – 10 Tokens
19. 10 Blue Essence – 1 Token

If players want to get anything else, they can spend 1650 RP to get the PsyOps Pass, which automatically comes with 200 PsyOps tokens and 4 PsyOps orbs. This will also unlock milestone missions with exclusive rewards and the ability to earn tokens after every PVP game during the event.

1. Win a matchmade PVP Summoner’s Rift game – 10 tokens
2. Lose a matchmade PVP Summoner’s Rift game – 5 tokens
3. Win a matchmade PVP ARAM or One For All game – 6 tokens
4. Lose a matchmade PVP ARAM or One For All game – 3 tokens
5. Get 1st or 2nd place in TFT – 8 tokens
6. Get 3rd or 4th place in TFT – 6 tokens
7. Get 5th or 6th place in TFT – 4 tokens
8. Get 7th or 8th place in TFT – 2 tokens

Finally, the pass comes with 4 weekly missions that award a significant number of PsyOps tokens. Winning any match gives 5 points while losing still grants 2 points.

1. Week 1: Score 35 Points – 215 Tokens
2. Week 2: Score 35 Points – 215 Tokens
3. Week 3: Score 35 Points – 215 Tokens
4. Week 4: Score 60 Points – 355 Tokens

Note that because of PsyOps 2020’s shortened duration, an extra weekly mission that gives 150 tokens will come out during Week 4. However, Samira and the second set of skins for Kayle, Pyke, Viktor, and Zed will likely arrive within 1-2 weeks along with more event content so players shouldn’t rush through everything in the first few days.
