After a very long wait, all signs seem to be pointing towards the imminent release of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 2. Not much is known about the DLC yet other than that it will introduce Super Saiyan Blue and probably pit the player against Golden Frieza, but fans may still want to prepare.
For the most part, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 1 provided everything the player needed in order to enjoy its content. Though max level was required to face off against Beerus, Whis’ training was available to players at any point in the game and at any level. The same will likely hold true for DLC 1, but a little extra preparation will likely go a long way.
Community boards are a somewhat quirky mechanic within the game that are fairly easy to overlook, but they provide some powerful bonuses that will no doubt prove useful to players in their fight against Golden Frieza. Players would be wise to max out these boards before DLC 2 releases.
Though it may not seem it, the most important board to max out is actually the Cooking board. The bonuses provided from the highest level recipes are incredible, and a maxed out cooking board ensures that they will always be multiplied by a great success. Because of this, the cooking board will provide more of a bonus in combat than any other board. In terms of combat, the Z Warrior board would come next, as it increases the players damage potential, and the Adventure board increases Ki and HP.
Though most players that have defeated Beerus are likely already at max level, the Training board shouldn’t be neglected. For one, it does provide some bonuses to the players defenses that will help them stave off Golden Frieza’s attacks, but there’s another reason to max out this board. If Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC 2 raises the level cap from 250 to 300 or even 350, having the boost of earning double experience will help players reach that goal much faster and take the fight to Golden Frieza even sooner.
At this point, the Development, Gods, and Adult community boards are mostly useless, though it doesn’t hurt to have them maxed out if the player still has some grinding they need to do for Zeni or Z Orbs. Players wondering how to max out the community boards should seek Shenron’s aid, as wishing for rare items will provide tons of gift items to help max out the various emblems.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
