PS5 Game Pages Now Live on PlayStation Website | Game Rant

It’s been three months now since Sony revealed the PlayStation 5 and a range of games for the console at the online Future of Gaming event. With a lineup of both exclusive and cross-generation games set to be available for the new PS5, the PlayStation website has started to prepare for the release of the new generation of gaming with updated game pages on its website.

With a release window of ‘Holiday 2020’ there can only be a couple of months to go before the new console hits the market, but many gamers are anxiously awaiting the big news about the price, pre-order processes, and actual release date. With the behind the scenes manufacturing looking to be running smoothly despite the worldwide pandemic, Sony has said the PlayStation 5 will be in high demand but is on schedule for its holiday release.

In anticipation of the release of the new console, the PlayStation website is gearing up for the PS5 launch with the addition of PS5 game pages. ResetEra compiled a list of the new game pages which include titles such as Godfall, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and Resident Evil Village.

Apart from the fact that the games will be available on the PS5, very little other new information is given on these pages. Cross-generation games, such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, have pre-order links for the different game PS4 game editions, but all PS5 release dates are listed as ‘to be confirmed.’ At least it’s promising to know that these web pages will be ready to go once PS5 game pre-orders are live.

Despite the lack of any of the information that players would like to be hearing right now, these new game pages do signal that the PS5 release campaign is in action and Sony is preparing behind the scenes. Along with these webpages, new PlayStation TV and web ads have begun appearing worldwide, boasting some of the PS5’s best features and games. Game developers have also been teasing some of the new features that they’re excited for with the new technology, stating that the SSD and new haptic feedback in the DualSense controller will likely be game-changers.

Another Sony PS5 online event is expected to happen before the release of the console, which will likely reveal the price, release date, and pre-order details. No time or date for this reveal has been confirmed but it is suspected to be coming sometime in September. At this point, it’s also unsure exactly which titles will be available on PS5 launch, apart from Spider-Man: Miles Morales, so hopefully, some more game launch dates will be announced at the next Sony event as well.
